By placing an order with Ugli Pup Jewellery, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

  • All orders and products are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities and discontinue products at any time. Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment must be received in full before orders are processed and put into production.

  • We accept the following payment methods for all online orders:

Credit & Debit Cards - Visa and Mastercard only (other cards such as Amex are not accepted).

PayPal - secure and fast payments.

Afterpay - buy now, pay later in 4 interest-free installments.

Bank Transfer / Electronic Funds Transfer -only available for custom projects.

  • All online payments are processed securely, and your information is never stored on our site. Please ensure your payment details are correct at checkout, as we are unable to process orders with incomplete or invalid information.

  • Most ready-to-ship items are dispatched within 1–3 business days, though during busy periods such as holidays, sales, or high-demand times, dispatch may take 7-10 business days or longer. Turnaround times for made-to-order or preorder items vary by design; estimated processing times are listed on each product page.

  • If your order contains both ready-to-ship and preorder items, everything will be shipped together once your preorder item is ready. If you’d like your ready-to-ship items sooner, please place them as a separate order at checkout.

  • All orders are sent via Australia Post with tracking included. Express shipping with Extra Cover is available at checkout.

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notification containing your tracking number so you can follow its journey. Please note that delivery times are controlled by the carrier and are outside of our control.

  • We can ship to residential and business addresses. For deliveries in Australia, we can also send to Australia Post parcel lockers. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address. We are not responsible for delays, packages returned to the carrier, or lost items caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information.

  • If you need to change your delivery address before your order is dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible. We may not always be able to accommodate changes once processing has started. Please note that once your order has been dispatched, the shipping address cannot be changed. Any re-delivery charges required due to this will be the responsibility of the customer.

  • Shipping times vary depending on your location. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or other factors beyond our control. Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

  • Currently, we only ship to the following locations: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Shipping to the United States is available - please email us directly at uglipupjewellery@gmail.com for a quote on shipping and tariffs.

           

  • A quick heads-up, globe trotters: We ship from Australia - but please note, your country might add a little extra ’howdy’ in the form of import taxes or customs fees when your order arrives at it’s destination. Those aren’t from us - these are set by your local government, and we unfortunately can’t cover or control them. In short: these charges are the responsibility of the recipient/importer (aka: you). Shipping times vary depending on your location and selected shipping method. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or other factors beyond our control. Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Ugli Pup is not responsible for delays or returns caused by unpaid import and/or customs fees. 

  • International customers may experience delays during customs clearance. These delays are outside our control, and we are not responsible for additional wait times or fees applied by customs authorities. We will ensure your items are shipped with tracking and adequate packaging, but customs procedures may affect delivery timeframes

  • If you’re unsure: check your local customs site for details, and we’ll make sure your shiny things are packed safely, tracked, and worth the wait.

Extra Cover is an Australia Post service that provides potential compensation if a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, offering extra peace of mind for high-value deliveries. Extra Cover is not insurance and is subject to Australia Post’s terms, conditions, and assessment process. 

When checking out, select the Express Shipping option labelled “Tracked & Extra Cover* - Signature on Delivery.” Extra Cover is included with this shipping option.

By selecting a shipping option that includes Extra Cover, you acknowledge that:

  • Extra Cover is an Australia Post service, not insurance.
  • Coverage and compensation are subject to Australia Post’s terms and assessment.
  • Approval of any claim is not guaranteed.

Ugli Pup is not responsible for claims being denied, delayed, or partially compensated

Please note: Our standard shipping option does not include Extra Cover or Signature on Delivery.

Who submits the claim depends on whether the parcel has been delivered:

  • Before delivery: the claim is generally submitted by the sender.
  • After delivery: the claim must be submitted by the recipient/buyer.

If a parcel arrives damaged, the buyer must take clear photos of each side of the package before opening it, then must take photos that demonstrate how it was packaged internally. Contact Ugli Pup. We will provide shipping details, receipts, and any documentation needed to support a claim with Australia Post.

There are strict time limits, as per Australia Post’s requirements, so ensure you take action as soon as possible.

All compensation claims are assessed solely by Australia Post. Ugli Pup will do our best to assist, but we cannot guarantee the outcome of any claim.

  • All Ugli Pup jewellery is handmade, made-to-order, or a one-off unique piece - some pieces may fall into more than one of these categories. Because of the bespoke, artisanal nature of our jewellery, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, sizing errors, or personal preference.

  • If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, it will be assessed to determine whether it is a genuine manufacturing fault, defect, unfit for purpose, or not as described. This does not cover damage caused by personal use or accidents.

  • If the assessment confirms a fault or issue, we will, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), offer a repair, replacement, or refund. Please contact us as soon as possible at uglipupjewellery@gmail.com with your order details and photos of the item.

  • If your claim is pre-approved as a genuine production fault, Ugli Pup will provide our return shipping address and cover the cost of return shipping back to us. 

  • Once we receive the item, we will conduct a further assessment to confirm the issue. If it is determined that the item was damaged due to personal use, accidents, or other non-manufacturing causes, the item will not be accepted as a faulty return, and you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to you.

  • If the assessment confirms a manufacturing fault or issue, we will, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), offer a repair, replacement, or refund. Approved refunds will be processed to the same payment method used for your order. Please allow approximately 5–10 business days for your bank to complete the transfer. This timeframe is outside of our control, and we are not responsible for any delays in the refund reaching your account.

  • To submit a claim, please email uglipupjewellery@gmail.com within 30 days and include: Proof of purchase and order number,
    Order details,
    A description of the issue,
    Clear photos that demonstrate the problem.

  • ACL / Statutory Rights:
    All Ugli Pup jewellery purchases are covered by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) if a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, even if it is made-to-order, custom, or a final sale item.

  • Examples of your ACL rights include: Your item is significantly different from the description or images.
    Your item is defective or has a manufacturing fault,
    Your item is unsafe for its intended purpose, Your item is damaged on arrival.

  • Ugli Pup does not offer general repairs, resizing, or alterations for cosmetic wear, accidental damage, or change of mind. We only repair, replace, or refund items that are faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

  • For all other repairs or resizing needs, please contact your friendly local jeweller. Ugli Pup cannot be held responsible for third-party work.

  • 1. Payment & Quote Validity: A 50% deposit is required to confirm your custom order and secure materials. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the piece, prior to shipping. Quotes for custom projects are valid for 14 days from the date they are provided. After this period, prices and availability may be subject to change.

  • 2. Turnaround Time: Estimated production times will be provided in your quote (typically 10-12 weeks, though this may vary). Turnaround may be affected by material availability or other unforeseen factors. We will keep you updated if any delays occur. Please note: shipping time is separate and beyond our control.

  • 3. Custom Order Policy: Custom orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable due to their bespoke nature. Any changes requested after production has begun may incur additional costs and cannot always be accommodated.

  • 4. Shipping and Liability: Custom pieces will be shipped via express tracked shipping. You will receive tracking information once your item has been dispatched. Ugli Pup is not liable for loss or damage once the package is with the carrier

  • 5. Warranty & Care: We offer a 12 month limited warranty covering craftsmanship defects only. Normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage from accidents is not covered. Care instructions for your custom piece will be provided to ensure it remains in excellent condition.

  • 6. Revisions: Custom orders may include a specified number of design revisions before production begins, as agreed in the quote. Any requested changes after production has started may incur additional costs and cannot always be accommodated. All revisions must be approved by ugli pup in writing to ensure both parties are aligned.

  • 7. Communication & Approval: All design revisions or changes require approval and must be confirmed by Ugli Pup in writing. Communication will be documented to ensure both parties are aligned throughout the process.

  • 8. Handmade Nature: Each custom piece is handcrafted, which may result in slight variations or imperfections. These are part of the artisanal process and contribute to the uniqueness of your jewellery. We ensure every piece meets a high standard of quality and will address any issues that go beyond expected handmade variations.

  • 9. Design Limitations: Ugli Pup specialises in bold, edgy, and playful jewellery. We reserve the right to decline any custom order that does not align with our brand, style, or creative direction. Please understand that requests outside of our aesthetic may not be accommodated.

  • At Ugli Pup, we aim to be responsible where we can, reduce single-use waste, and support local businesses and Australian suppliers whenever possible.

  • We use compostable mailers when we can, cardboard packaging that can be reused or recycled, and water-based tape where possible. Please note that some elements, like shipping carrier labels or tape applied by the courier, are outside our control.

  • Wherever feasible, we source materials and components from Australian suppliers, supporting local industry and keeping transport emissions lower.

  • Our jewellery uses synthetic nano gemstones rather than natural mined stones. Mining natural gemstones can cause environmental harm and involve exploitative labor practices. Nano stones offer the same sparkle and quality, and can also be used in cast-in-place techniques, allowing for more intricate and durable designs.

  • We work with high-quality sterling silver (925), and use recycled or responsibly sourced metals whenever possible.

  • Offcuts, scrap silver, and other materials are recycled or repurposed wherever possible.

  • Our pieces are designed to last. We stand firmly against fast fashion and “fast jewellery”. Each piece is made to be cherished, not thrown away and replaced next season.

  • Your jewellery is designed to make a statement, but it’s still jewellery - not a toy. Please keep these tips in mind to keep your pieces looking great and prevent accidents:

  • Decorative use only: avoid using your jewellery for anything other than wearing.

  • Sharp or textured pieces: Some designs (spikes, barbed wire, chunky links etc) can snag clothing or scratch surfaces - wear with care.

  • Keep away from children and pets: small parts, sharp edges, and heavy pieces can be hazardous.

  • Avoid impact or heavy force: Jewellery can bend, deform, or break if knocked or dropped.

  • By wearing Ugli Pup jewellery, you acknowledge that you accept all responsibility for handling, wearing, and storing your pieces safely.

  • At Ugli Pup, we genuinely love hearing from you. Whether it’s a suggestion, a compliment, or something we can do to improve. Your feedback helps us shape Ugli Pup. We care deeply about craftsmanship, transparency, and your experience. If something isn’t right, we want to hear about it so we can make it better.

  • We welcome honest feedback about your shopping experience, our products, or anything that helps us improve. You can contact us directly at uglipupjewellery@gmail.com. we aim to respond within 3-5 business days, but response times may vary during busy periods.

  • If you have a concern or complaint, please reach out as soon as possible with: your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photos if the complaint relates to a physical product. This helps us to assess the situation quickly and fairly.

  • We review all complaints on a case by case basis. Because every piece is unique- variations, tool marks, and minor imperfections are part of the character of Ugli Pup jewellery and are not considered faults. If an issue falls under a genuine production fault, we’ll work with you on repair, replacement, or another appropriate solution.

  • We are committed to respectful, kind communication - and we ask the same from you.

  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing messages will result in the conversation being stopped and no further support provided.

  • All final decisions regarding complaints, refunds, or remedies are at the sole discretion of Ugli Pup and made in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

  • All jewellery products and jewellery designs on this website are the property of Ugli Pup Jewellery. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our explicit written permission.

  • While we take great care in crafting each piece, we cannot be held liable for any injury or damage that may occur from the use and wearing of the jewellery. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Accidental injury. Cuts, scratches, or other minor injuries caused by sharp edges, spikes, or textured details.

  • Damage to property: Scratching or denting surfaces when wearing or storing jewellery.

  • Allergic reactions: Skin irritation or allergic reactions from metals or other materials.

  • Loss or theft: Ugli Pup is not responsible for jewellery that is lost, stolen, or misplaced during transit or after delivery.

  • Improper use: Jewellery should be worn as intended. Misuse may cause breakage or damage.

  • By purchasing from Ugli Pup, you acknowledge that jewellery is decorative and fashion accessories, not toys, tools, or safety devices. You accept all responsibility for wearing and caring for your pieces.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Ugli Pup Jewellery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

  • We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during your visit or purchase is used solely for order processing and communication. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as necessary to fulfill your order. Please see our privacy policy for more information.

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. Please review these terms periodically.

We have made every effort to provide an accurate representation of our products and services in our online stores. However, please note that colors or product appearance may differ from how they may appear on your screen due to the type of device you use to access the store and your device settings and configuration.

We do not warrant that the appearance or quality of any products or services purchased by you will meet your expectations or be the same as depicted or rendered in our online stores.

All descriptions of products are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and may limit the quantities of any products that we offer to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction, on a case-by-case basis.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Ugli Pup Jewellery reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at its discretion. Your order is not accepted until Ugli Pup Jewellery confirms acceptance. We must receive and process your payment before your order is accepted. Please review your order carefully before submitting, as Ugli Pup Jewellery may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests after an order is accepted. In the event that we do not accept, make a change to, or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail, billing address, and/or phone number provided at the time the order was made.

Your purchases are subject to return or exchange solely in accordance with our Refund Policy [LINK].

You represent and warrant that your purchases are for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.

Prices, discounts and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be set out in your order confirmation email. Unless otherwise expressly stated, posted prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling, customs or import charges.

Prices posted in our online stores may be different from prices offered in physical stores or in online or other stores operated by third parties. We may offer, from time to time, promotions on the Services that may affect pricing and that are governed by terms and conditions separate from these Terms. If there is a conflict between the terms for a promotion and these Terms, the promotion terms will govern.

You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

You represent and warrant that (i) the credit card information you provide is true, correct, and complete, (ii) you are duly authorized to use such credit card for the purchase, (iii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (iv) you will pay charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including shipping and handling charges and all applicable taxes, if any.

We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control. Once we transfer products to the carrier, title and risk of loss passes to you.

Our Services, including but not limited to all trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, product reviews, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by Ugli Pup Jewellery , its affiliates or licensors and are protected by Australian and foreign patent, copyright and other intellectual property laws.

These Terms permit you to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. We may also, in the future, offer new features through the Services (including the release of new tools and resources). Such new features shall also be deemed part of the Services and are subject to these Terms of Service.

We are not liable for any harm or damages related to your access of any third-party websites, or your purchase or use of any products, services, resources, or content on any third-party websites. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products and services should be directed to the third-party.

Ugli Pup Jewellery is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with Ugli Pup Jewellery . By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Ugli Pup Jewellery , including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Ugli Pup Jewellery .

We may terminate this agreement or your access to the Services (or any part thereof) in our sole discretion at any time without notice, and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination.

The following sections will continue to apply following any termination: Intellectual Property, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver; Entire Agreement, Assignment, Governing Law, Privacy Policy, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination.

SECTION 17 - INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Ugli Pup Jewellery , Shopify, and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from any losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, payable to any third party due to or arising out of (1) your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, (2) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, or (3) your access to and use of the Services.

You and Ugli Pup Jewellery consent to venue and personal jurisdiction in such courts.
